| Finally I bought my first brand new car. I order it end of May and it finally came and I just pick it up this past saturday. it's only been a few days and i already put over 200 miles on it. that's the different between just driving and driving a car you like. i actually look forward to go for a drive. I was happy after picking up my car until the sales person calls me and tell me i owe them more money. they forgot to charge me for the all-weather mats and wheel locks, i just spend so much money on the car and they can't throw that in? and it's not my fault they didn't include it on my bill. and the car cost more than i originally quoted for. they definitely don't know how to make a customer happy. i'm not even mad about paying $160 more for the mats and locks, i'm mad that now i'm paying close to 1k more than what i was originally quoted for and when i drive the car off the lot i expect everything was taken care of and not calling me to call me i owe them money. that's bad customer service and i waited 3 weeks for the car which they told me i would get in 1 week. from that 1 phone call it made my purchase experience from good to bad. now why would i recommend anyone else to them? | | |
| It's been a very busy year so far. Moving, job hunting, conferences, vacation, weddings, etc. Well things are starting to slow down for now. moved into the new house in Princeton, having really settle in yet because there is a lot of unpacking to do and still need to go funiture shopping. I just got back from my 2 week vacation in Hong Kong. it was awesome, the food is great (gain a few pounds), the weather was nice (high 60s - high 70s), public transportations are very convenient and cheap and not to mention a lot cleaner than NY subway. I will post some pic on facebook later. right after i came back from Hong Kong, i submited my resignation at BNY Mellon (way to resign right? first day back and i quit) . starting my new job right after my trip to chicago next weekend. let see how the rest of the year goes, for those who know my year didn't start out so well but things are turning around, new house, new job, new beginning. | | |
| it's been 5 months since my last update. there really isn't too much to update and i don't want to complain about work since i think most people already knows how much i hate my job. i've been too busy to even check xanga and it seems like everyone have slowly phase out of xanga. i work about 12 hours a day and most of the time hanging out with people on weekend so i don't spend that much time online anymore, not even aim. seems like once you start working you won't have time to go online, chat on aim, read xanga, facebook, etc. and if you don't do it for long enough it doesn't seem important anymore. the only bad thing is that most of us use the internet to stay in touch and it's been hard to keep in touch with people with my busy schedule. beside working i've been packing and moving stuff to the storage to prepare to move. i'm moving to princeton next year but moving out of our current house by november so we need to find a place to rent for couple months until the new house is finish. only a little over a month left to pack and move everything. we have so much junk in our house. so since i'm moving in end of october i won't be visiting psu probably until december. but i am visiting this weekend to watch the football game. if anyone want to meet up let me know. | | |
| last weekend was great. it's nice to see old faces again. me, ernest and tong went to watch 300. it's a good movie. we went to DC to see cherry blossoms but unfortunately most of the trees are dying because of the cold weather, but we did find 2 trees with flowers on them.
Guess who I found in DC? someone that was M.I.A. for the past almost 3 years. That's right it's Mrs. Jenny Shung. Guess what i'm going down to MD, VA area again this weekend. wohoo!!! | | |
